5 Things Every Teen Should Know About Politics.

There are many things that teens should know about politics, but these are just a few.
1) A lot of states allow you to register to vote when your 16 years old or 17 years old. Even though it doesn't make much of a difference it's nice to know that your ready to vote when you turn 18.
2) Politics impacts your daily life. You don't realize it, but politics plays a huge role in your daily life. For example, if you go to a public school, the government funds that school. That's is only one example though and there are so many more.
3) Elections aren't just for presidency. Many people think that elections are just for presidency. But that's not true, you can vote for Congress, Mayors, City Councils, etc. Of course you can still vote for president, but there is more than one option on the ballot.
4) A Political Teen equals a knowledgeable teen. Multiple study's have shown how a politically invested teen will result in them being a smarter version of themselves.
5) Voting makes your voice heard. When you vote in any election, your voice is heard and you probably don't realize it. Voting gives you a say in an election, that ballots holds your true feelings. When you turn it in, your voice is heard.
